Every now again, I say to myself: Be Bold. Do something big. Make a radical, new choice. Decide afresh. Then I scramble around wondering which pieces to move on the chessboard of my life?
Underneath the injunction to ‘be bold’ slinks something else – impatience, dissatisfaction with the status quo, wanting something different. Nothing bad in itself, but…
But when ‘be bold’ gets a grip of you, has its way with you – you find yourself going crazy with impatience for LIFE to happen, (as if that means anything) and you push and pull and dart in all the wrong directions.
Bold is often just to calm down, relax and let the next inspiration seep into you.
